slice of life

I have been getting ready to move for the past few days into a new house with a new family. This would be the third time I have moved since I have left my mom about nine months ago. It is ridiculousness that i'm  having to move again it is very stressful having to move like this all the time. People ask me all the time why don't you just move to Tennessee with your mother? you should of have done that in the first place so you wouldn't have to worried like that all the time! Sometimes ill say if I go then i lost the battle that I have been fighting for four years to stay here at West Lincoln. See i love all my friends and teachers here at West Lincoln High School and I wouldn't leave west for anything in the world this is my high school and im not leaving.

  1. Aww WE love you too. I understand I have been fighting for four years to stay here too. My mom has tried to get me to leave a couple of times, but this is my high school also and I refuse to leave to. So if you need some one who understands to talk to I'm here and you now where to find me at school.

  2. Hi Shawn,

I cannot imagine how frustrating it must be to move around so much, especially in such a short time frame.

I'm Stacey, one of the two women who is hosting the Challenge over at Two Writing Teachers, for which your teacher is having your class write. I noticed you included the name of your high school in this piece of writing. Please be careful about the details you provide in your writing since your blog is part of the public domain. Just want you to stay safe.

It was nice to see how your classmate left you a supportive comment (above). Sounds like you care for your friends as much as they care for you.

Be well and good luck with the move.

  3. Just realized, after I left the comment, that you and your classmates are in high school. I'm used to dealing with fourth and fifth graders. Sorry if my comment sounded like I was babying you. I didn't mean it to come across that way.
